- Do you really need a chemical sales background to sell these products?
Yes. A chemical sales background is essential, so either you as the owner, or your sales
staff need to be well-versed in chemical sales.
- Is this a franchise opportunity?
No. An Eagle Chemical distributorship is your own business with all of the commitments
and responsibilities that implies. However, we want you to succeed and will provide you
with support and advice for your growing business. Basically, as a distributor, you sell
the product and place the orders; we do the rest.
- Do I need a warehouse?
- Having a warehouse is optional. Most of our distributors do not have their own
warehouses but depend on our supply of ready-to-ship inventory.
- What happens once I place my orders?
- We make it, label it, and ship it. You are responsible for invoicing
and of course
servicing the account.
- What if I or one of my customers need technical support?
- We offer technical support to our distributors and their customers. In fact, many times,
we have all parties on the phone to go over an order, specify a new product, or answer a
question.
